How to save and link a vehicle for live data
In the iOS or Android app: Go into
Settings > Car model(click the selected car right below โPlan settingsโClick the button โSelect a new carโ at the bottom of the list
Specify the vehicle model
Now, when the correct model is selected, click it once more in the list of settings
Right below the named vehicle model, youโll see three buttons; โEdit settings,โ โLive data,โ and โSave.โ You can either directly click โLive data,โ and weโll ask you to save the car, or first save it by clicking โSave.โ
when youโve got a saved vehicle, weโll present you with the available linking options for the selected vehicle model. This menu can also be accessed by clicking โEdit settings.โ Select the linking option โTeslaโ and follow the instructions.
How to link an already existing saved vehicle for live data
If, on the other hand, you have already had a saved vehicle created, you may, of course, link it:
Go into:
Settings > Car modelClick the vehicle model. Make sure to select the correct vehicle
Click the โlive dataโ button just below the selected vehicle
Select a linking option in the list
Follow the linking instructions
Stop streaming Tesla live data to ABRP
If youโd like to stop Tesla streaming, here are the steps.
In your Tesla, on the touchscreen, tap
Controls > Locks.In the key list, find the key called abetterrouteplanner.com and tap its associated trash icon.
When prompted, scan an authenticated key on the card reader to confirm the deletion. When complete, the key list no longer includes the deleted key.
Troubleshooting: If you can't find the key in the key list, it may be at the bottom of this list. You might need to press on the list and scroll down.
