In this article, we’ll explain how you can enable the bug report button feature which, once pressed, uploads a log to our servers of the activity/events in the app. This can be used for helping the ABRP team understand odd navigation decisions and other incorrect behavior in the app.

Settings (App settings) → Show bug report button

How to enable

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the settings menu, where you’ll find the ‘App Settings’ section.

  2. Among the bottom items, you’ll find Show bug report button and a toggle for enabling and disabling it.

  3. Toggle on Show bug report button

  4. The button will now be visible in the top row on the main screen

⚠️ No event log is reviewed automatically. If you press the bug report button and want the ABRP team to examine the error, you also need to submit a ticket here on ‘Featurebase’.

How to use

You can now use the button to create an event log. Here’s an example:

  1. Odd behavior happens

  2. You press the bug report button

  3. The 300 most recent events (prior to the button being pressed) are logged with an ID number. Copy the event log ID to your clipboard.

  4. Now submit a ticket in the 🐛 Bug Reports section here on ‘Featurebase’. Paste the event log ID in your bug report.
