  1. -App not showing status of chargers in Australia

  2. -Can’t delete waypoints while navigating in Android Auto. You have to use the phone, you can’t do that while driving

  3. -Can’t add waypoints while navigating in Android Auto. You have to use the phone, which you can’t do while driving

  4. -Doesn’t recognise that you have pulled up at a charger set as a waypoint.

  5. -After charging at a waypoint it gets highly confused about where it is. At times it was trying to route me back to the previous waypoint. Only resolved after driving off for 5km.

  6. -Won’t restart correctly halfway through a trip. If the phone closes the app and restarts and you are halfway through a trip it wants to route you back to the start of the journey.

  7. -During a leg of a trip it sometimes wanders off track as if it has lost the GPS info.

  8. -Loading up a preplanned trip takes FOREVER. You have to unlock the phone and bring the app to the front to make it move on. Can’t do that while driving.

  9. -Unable to nominate a destination as a waypoint on Android auto.

  10. -Feature request-If you set a charger as a waypoint and for some reason you can’t use that charger, be able to nominate an alternative charger waypoint when planning and calculate the charge, distance and status of the alternate waypoint.

    Thanks for your detailed feedback. I'm really sorry to hear about the challenges you've been encountering.

    Let me address these issues:

    1. Charger status in Australia: We're aware that charger data is lacking in some regions and are working to improve this. If there are specific networks you wish to see live data for, you can submit a ticket for the network here in this board;

    2. Adding waypoint in Android Auto: This is a known limitation and is something we're looking into. You can follow the status for this request here; Ability to add waypoint while driving in Android Auto

    3. Deleting waypoint in Android Auto: This is also a known limitation and is something we're looking into. However, based on what we’ve seen, it is not as easy to implement at the moment, strictly due to the limitations of Android Auto. Feel free to submit an official feature request for this;

    4. Arrival recognition at chargers: Recognizing when you've arrived at a charger can be tricky with GPS accuracy as well as accuracy for where the charger is placed on the map, but we're aiming to enhance this for a smoother experience.


      → Or does this happen specifically when you’ve manually added the charger?

    5. Navigation confusion after charging: This behavior shouldn't be happening, but it can if we still don’t think you’re close enough to the location of the charger. We’re working on functionality to help in the cases where things don’t match exactly; Button to continue navigation to next waypoint

    6. Restarting incorrectly mid-trip: Normally, we should continue from your location, and I personally haven’t seen the app behave this way. However, it is possible that something in your setup (live data, vehicle model, etc.) triggers it.

    7. GPS drift: We’d need some more information to identify what causes this.

    8. Preplanned trip loading times: That's not ideal, particularly on-the-go. But it is not something we’ve seen before so it’ll need to be investigated.

    9. Setting destination in Android Auto: I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean here.


      → Do you mean that you’re unable to add the saved destinations as waypoints in AA, or that you’re not able to change/move the final destination to become a waypoint in AA?

    10. Feature request for alternative charger waypoints: That’s a great suggestion. Perhaps this existing feature request matches your suggestion?
