Overnight stays in 7.0 need more clarity

Overnight Stays at Motels & Hotels

One of my longest frustrations with ABRP is with overnight stops.

If ABRP has functionality to handle this, I’ve yet to find it.

This functionality needs logically to handle:

a) a stop with/without charging.

b) clearly display an overnight stop and clearly identify the duration of any charging, AND show either the stay over and above charging or including charging.

c) a graphic symbol, like a bed, should be included to clearly identify this stop as the end/beginning of a days travel.

Ideally such functionality should include the departure time on the trip overview.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi @Daryl Sturgess,

    Overnight stops has since been made clearer, we currently divide per day 1, 2, 3 and so forth as well as mark planned hotel stops with a bed icon.

      Katya, the particularly annoying part of this issue is that this functionality was there some time back and disappeared. How does that occur?

      None of this has progressed with 7.0.4 (5787] and I suspect no one complains about the absence of this functionality because they’ve never seen it.

      How can you plan energy use comprehensively for a multi day journey without this functionality?

    Day Numbering on Multi Day Trips???

    Recently I’ve noticed Day X appearing on multi day trip plans, but their appearance seems inconsistent and the logic of the location eludes me.

    It appears against the travel time between stops, but such that Day 2 appears prior to the overnight stop that defines the end of day 1 & the start of day 2, if that makes sense???

    And why is day 1 undeserving of identification?

    So my request is:

    1) ALL days of multi day trips be numbered

    2) day numbers appear against the travel duration time of the correct day
