The first step to start planning your EV trips is to select your vehicle model. Once you've found the model matching the vehicle you own (or the one you're looking to buy), you may choose to save it for your "garage".

A saved vehicle is kept in your account. You can link a saved vehicle for live data*, get a calibrated reference consumption value*, add different configurations** for it, log charging and driving activities***, and more!

Add and save a vehicle

1. Click/tap Add vehicle on the start page

2. Search for and select your vehicle model

3. Once selected, click/tap the ‘save’ button

Delete a saved vehicle

Did you create a duplicate or simply want to start over? No worries, this can be changed at any point in the settings for the saved vehicle.

1. Open settings in the app or on the web

2. Click/tap at Vehicle

3. Select the correct car

4. Scroll to the bottom and click at Delete vehicle

Add an additional saved vehicle**

2. Click/tap at Vehicle

3. Click/tap at the vehicle name at the top

4. Click/tap Add new vehicle

5. Search for and select your vehicle model

6. Once selected, click/tap the ‘save’ button

Create your custom vehicle model

While we're working on adding more public models to ABRP, you don't have to wait to get started. We've just released a new vehicle modeling tool in the ABRP app that lets you create your own custom model.

You can create and edit custom models on the web here (log in with your regular ABRP account):

Once you've created a vehicle model, you'll find it at the top of the vehicle list in ABRP under "Custom vehicles".

Quick way to get started from inside ABRP:

1. Open ABRP and click Add vehicle on the vehicle card (or click the down arrow next to your current vehicle, then choose Add new vehicle).

2. Scroll to the bottom of the vehicle list and click “Missing vehicle model?”.

3. Click "Create custom vehicle".

4. Pick a similar model and edit it, or start from scratch, then save. After you save, ABRP will automatically select your new custom vehicle.
