Colorado winter closures not considered
Winter closures on Colorado mountain passes are not reflected in the planner. Specifically, Cottonwood Pass between Buena Vista, CO and Taylor Park Reservoir (Chaffee County Road 306/Gunnison County Road 209) was provided to me as a route in March 2026. The pass is typically closed all winter because it is not plowed and covered in deep impassable snow. This is potentially dangerous!

Why does this app suck so bad?
The more I use this app the more I hate it. Why can’t I see the distance between chargers? I don’t GAF about my charge percent. I want to see the mile range and I can figure it out. You already f’ed me on this trip because I trusted your recommended chargers and percentages rather than just showing miles. I am in a constant state of having no clue where I am on the map. Zooming out is useless because before I can focus on the route it zooms back in. I hate everything about how this app works! I keep beating a dead horse but why TF can’t you just copy Tesla. Manu road trips in my Model 3 and never worried about a thing. 1 Road trip not in a Tesla and I was nearly stranded, and constantly worrying about range and never knowing where I am on the map. Seriously your product is hot garbage.

I would really appreciate seeing features like those offered by Waze (e.g., speed cameras, police, debris on the road, construction, etc.). On long journeys, it's very useful to have this information.

Map showing swimming pool all over the place
Map in ABRP mode on phone, CarPlay and web shows all private swimming pools and make the map a bit overcrowded. An option to hide them or even better select POI to be displayed would be great.

Advanced Charger Filters of Premium function don't act as I expected
I have purchased a premium account specifically because I travel with a trailer quite often. What do I need for longer trailer route planning? Specifically three things: Being able to strictly choose routes where I dont have to disconnect the trailer to charge. The best option is a drive through charger, like Fastned has most of the time. However, if i configure a trailer option to my car nothing really happens in the planning. The alternative is then to a) select preffered networks manually. However, this is not a strict selection: often you still get other networks. I would like to be able to select one network as a must go! b) use the option “trailer friendly”. I would expect this option to be automatically selected when I configure a small trailer with my car. I dont this works this way, however. And - trailer friendly is a scale, not a YES/NO option. So I basically dont know for sure its a drive through. Others in this forum have suggested to create a boolean “drive through” which I really, really like. I would for sure have me not abandon the Premium function. Being able to schedule drive range more specifically to trailer circumstances. Nothing changes however, in the Kwh consumption index when I configure a trailer. And the range expected is still the same. For sure or hopefully this will change after some trailer drives due to the automated benchmarking, but still I would like to be able to get better predictions at the start already. I need to be able to be flexible in my planning - when i charge earlier or later than planned or charge more KwH’s than expected this needs to be change directly in my planning. I dont think this happens. And then last of all: I cannot show both my time / distance to the first charging stop as well as the time / distance to the final destination in my Apple Carplay screen. And thats very, very annoying. For all issues mentioned - I have seen other request which I have upvoted. So please consider this summary as input from a trailer driver who just needs a bit more functionality to stick with the premium version of ABRP.

German Translation: Amenity
“Amenity” in the given context of infrastructure should be translated as “Einrichtung” (→ “facility”). “Annehmlichkeit” rather describes a pleasant or even luxury feature or activity.

The route takes a detour
https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=2-69a865e7-128a01ed7f93ec31d750b153 The road is not closed, but the route is still planned with a large detour. The planning on the PC in Firefox and in Android makes the same mistake.

Free app version need to connect to Apple Pay
The whole point of this app is to have a better route planned for trips with an electric vehicle. Since you are offering a free version to have the most important thing not available to connect to Apple Play just doesn’t seem right. You might as well keep the whole thing as a paid application because looking at the phone while driving is not something a safe driver wants to do.

charging costs
Correct information about charging prices for adhoc and for the respective personal cards, as well as the currently available charging points. It is important that the prices are correct. Chargeprice is much more accurate in this regard. Thank you.

Enode/ABRP connection to BYD Sealion 7
I’ve connected my BYD Sealion 7 to Enode through ABRP with a premium subscription. I’ve noticed that even when the car is turned off, this connection drains the car’s battery (about –1% every 4–5 hours). It would be useful if ABRP had a “Pause sync with Enode” button, so that when we don’t need Enode, it doesn’t drain the car’s battery. Right now, the only option is to disconnect Enode completely, but then we have to repeat the whole process to reconnect it later

Existing Maxus eDeliver 3 (EV30) shows wrong van picture
Hi, I just wanted to highlight that the vehicle entry for the Maxus eDeliver 3 (EV30) displays the wrong vehicle image. The other details for model and battery options are accurate. It’s just that the image shown is for the EV80 van rather than the eDeliver 3(EV30)

Road closed in abrp but its open and free
For weeks now, every route planning attempt from my home in Italy (39021 Latsch) heading south or east has shown a detour to the west! The road to Bolzano (39100) is open and freely passable. It's a major thoroughfare! Here's an example from Latsch to Bolzano: https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=2-699be8e1-6ae5752dde18d2a38aba084e Using the app like this is pointless for me if all routes from my home are affected.

Feedback
For alternative route functionality ABRP shows the options without the DC capacity(eg 300kw) and the available/total number of DC stations. These are only avialable after the driver made his choice. You definately want to know this info upfront so you can make the right choice. Also it is too much text, much better would be to show the red/green pie diagram of the main screen.

Temperature and weight settings missing
After the last update it's not possible anymore to set the vehicle temperature on start of the route (to determine if the car was preheated or not) and it's also not possible anymore to select extra weight (f.e 1 or 5 persons in the car) In general all the good detailed settings are suddenly gone which made abrp great. If it stays like it is now after the update I have to cancel my subscription… Because exactly those settings made the difference to the normal route planners

Closed Road
ABRP plans my route via Silvretta Hochalpenpass. This route is every winter closed for several months. I know this, but it's bad for users who don't know. They drive 25 km into a dead end and back again. Shouldn't ABRP automatically take this into account when planning routes (even in the free version)? Or is this a setting in the configuration?

Color on chargers
you have on som point, a while ago changed the colors on the chargers showing how many available chargers there are on the charger you are goin to. Problem is, the current colors are all most impossible see the red from the green is you have a weak color sight, or if you are colorblind. It’s a rather big problem
