VW id.7 wrong SOC reported

I have got a new id.7 (2027), and now the app does not show the correct SOC. Its like off by 30 % compared to the cars level. Is constant over several days and drives. The connection is via OBD.

In my old is.7 (2025) there was no problem.

I have added the old model, 2023, as my car since there is no option to choose the new 2027-model, with the new software.

Where does this happen?

    What is the battery capacity of your new vehicle you are driving and how much of a difference is it compared to the vehicle you have chosen inside the settings? Currently, the new 2025 model of the ID.7 Tour.

      I have choosen the Pro S with a battery size of 86 kWh net in the app, which is the same as my new model according to VW’s Home page. I drive the Style S.

      Though on the official danish car register platform the data states 97 kWh gross and not 91 kWh net as earlier mentioned by VW - but im pretty sure its a misstake..

        Hi

        The problem is probably that the 2027 model use other pids than the car you use in the app. You need to find the correct pids and test them in the pid editor.
