Autostrada del Brennero
Is it possible to add the Italian A22 highway proprietary charger network in the network list to add as preferred chargers? They have a really low price and no need of card or subscription.
Thank you

Hi @Mattia Gasparini,
Is the network name ‘Autostrada del Brennero’ ?
Do you know how many charging locations they have?

Yes, I confirm the network name, that’s the company name that also owns the highway.
You can find the number of charging locations clicking on the link in the post. They have charging points in the service areas and nearly outside the toll barriers.

Ok, merging in an existing ticket here. Looks like they have 14 locations, is that correct?

Ok, 10 is the number of chargers required for us to list a group of chargers as a network. I’ll check.

Hi @Mattia Gasparini,
I’ve submitted a ticket to our data provider so that they can look into adding this network and their chargers.

This would of course, also resolve the missing chargers you reported;
Autostrada del Brennero, Service area Povegliano est
Autostrada del Brennero, Tollgate Affi

Friendly ping on this ticket!
I’m seeing the note “This charger has limited access or function and is not used in automatic planning“ for most Autostrada del Brennero (aka rEVcharge A22) charging stations. As a consequence, these chargers, which arguably are the BEST on the A22 route (direct on the motorway, 43ct ad-hoc price, free toilets, great barista coffee) are ignored by ABRP’s routing.
This problem has also been described by @Luca Scarponihere: https://abrp.featurebase.app/en/p/a22-charging-network
Please fix! These are the best chargers, and ABRP is ignoring them.

I just landed on one of those chargers by accident cause kids wanted to pee and they are EXCELLENT! Easy to pay, 24/7 and they are half price of the IONITY and other networs but still ABRP is ignoring them with some generic comment . Why, those are the best at 0.43 euro/kWh and Affi Ionity that is 1km away is 0.83 requires highway toll gate exit at least 5min and at least 3min of driving around mall parking lot maze that was designed like war trenches to confuse enemy
