A22 Charging Network
Hello ABRP Team,
I’m writing to report an issue with the Autostrada del Brennero (A22) EV charging stations.
While some of these chargers may appear on the map, ABRP never selects them for routing, and it is not possible to set them as a preferred charging network.
From my experience, this seems to be caused by incorrect or incomplete data, such as:
wrong or missing network/operator identification
missing or incorrect power levels (HPC DC)
missing pricing information
stations not correctly flagged as public highway chargers
As a result:
ABRP does not consider them during route planning
they cannot be prioritized or preferred, even though they are excellent HPC chargers directly on the A22 motorway
users are routed to slower or more expensive alternatives off the highway
These chargers are operated by Autostrada del Brennero and are:
public and fully operational
located at A22 service areas
HPC DC chargers
priced at €0.43/kWh, which makes them very attractive for long-distance routing
Official and up-to-date information is available here:
https://www.autobrennero.it/it/in-viaggio/sosta-e-servizi/colonnine-elettriche-per-auto/
Could you please check how these stations are currently represented in your data sources (Eco-Movement / Open Charge Map) and update them so that:
they can be correctly selected by the routing algorithm
they appear as a selectable and prefer-able charging network in ABRP
I’m happy to help by providing exact coordinates, photos, or by submitting corrected data to Open Charge Map if needed.
Thanks a lot for your support and for the excellent work on ABRP.
Best regards,
Luca
