Coding for an overnight stay

It is now September. I am planning for a November trip. I edit my start position specifying the date and departure time. When I decide where to stay overnight, I edit that location to specify the next day the date of departure. when I click on the date, a popup calendar defaults to September even though the arrival date correctly shows November. Every time I edit a stop, I have to click through two months. It should default to the month of arrival. It should be a simple fix.
