Changing destination charge remaining has no effect

I have a plan in which i am not happy with the final destination charge remaining value. I change the option for this value to a value which is higher than the plans current remain charge. The plan does not change. No new charging stops or longer duration charging stops. In this particular case it should change from no stops to at least one stop for charging.
