Link to Porsche and/or ODB2 not possible
My Macan, 2025 build, will sporadically link to Porsche, but never update data (Soc, range etc). I got a BLE based ODB2, and ABRP will not recognise that there’s one. If I change my car to a Taycan, it does.
I’ve just been caught out with a real SOC lower, and had to emergency find a charger…. not a nice feeling.
So neither Porsche link or ODB2 work on the Macan. So quite usless for me.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

We have contacted Porsche to see if they have any issues on their side.

Hi
We don’t support your car model with OBD. What is not working with the Porsche connection? Do you get a message or can you explain a little bit more?

No data arrives. It says “registering” and that’s it. No Soc change, nada. I’ve currently subscribed to Tronity, which does work, and it takes time for the data to arrive.
Bit disappointing.

Have you tried to unlink it and link it again?
Unfortunately we have had some issues with Porsche and the connection.

Bug] Loss of live data synchronization (SoC) - 2024 Porsche Taycan / Enode & Direct
Problem Description
Vehicle:
Porsche Taycan (Plus version, Large battery 83 kWh, 1st generation)
Year: 2024
Description of the issue:
Hello,
I use ABRP with my Porsche Taycan and everything was working perfectly until a month or two ago. Since then, I no longer receive any live data in the app, which makes real-time State of Charge (SoC) tracking impossible and the app unusable for navigation.
Observed behaviors:
1. Porsche Direct Connection: The system completely bugs out. No data is being retrieved. (Note that it has also become very difficult to log into the official Porsche app recently).
2. Enode Connection: The connection status shows as green (the network seems OK), but the data is not being transmitted. The battery level remains frozen and does not reflect the actual state of the vehicle at all.
Troubleshooting steps I have already taken:
Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the ABRP app.
Completely deleted the vehicle in the settings, then added it back.
Alternated tests between the Direct connection and the Enode connection.
Despite all these efforts, the situation remains completely stuck. Is this a known API issue with Porsche servers recently? Is there any workaround while waiting for a fix?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi
There have been some issues with the Porsche connection this week. Have you tried to connect today?

Y
Yes, I tried today. In fact, I try to connect every single day, but still absolutely nothing.
I am also wondering if this could be a caching issue. When I previously tried setting up the Enode connection and then deleted it, my iPhone app still showed it as "connected", even though I was trying to switch to the direct Porsche connection.
Could there be a conflict or some lingering data in the app's cache between the Enode token and the Porsche direct connection?
