Departure times for all waypoints are from "now"
When preparing a plan, I set the desired departure time and date from the origin - in this route it is September 2nd at 07:00am. However when clicking the “Plan” button, all stops are calculated from the time that the Plan button is clicked. I see this in both the webui as well as the app.
Updating the departure time from waypoints on the route also does not update subsequent stops, making it very difficult to get an accurate time for the whole journey including overnight rest stops.

My starting time does not “trickle” down to all the subsequent stops.
I am wondering if there is any way to have ABRP actually plan a future route and populate all the dates and times correctly.

PinnedHello @Donald Brady,
Do you mean that you want the dates and times of the other stops in your plan to be updated when you have changed it for the first stop? Do you know how to change the time and date of stops yourself or do you need help with doing so?

Yes, that is what I mean. It defaults to a departure time of “now” and when I update the departure time to some point in future it doesn’t update the whole trip. That to me seems like a necessary feature of a trip planner.

We will fix this so we show the correct date so it will match the start date that you have selected.

Hi
Do you mean that todays date is here on this page?

Hi Linda - yes, the waypoint departure dates do not update if I set the initial departure date to a date of my choosing as seen in the attached screenshots

You have all the times and days (day 1, day 2 … )in the plan. This is if you want to delay the departure or change the charging time for the specific waypoint. Right now we don’t change that date so it match the start date but it’s something we can talk about in our meeting tomorrow.
