Extra Weight should be made available again as a parameter
No possibility to adjust additional weight in 7.0?
Hi Team, these are some .. great changes, I think. - In the past, I was able adjust the weight (as passengers and luggage change) the app which helped the app to predict more precisely. Where do I find this now?

Hello, in my opinion weight is important. If I go on holiday with four people and a full trunk, I consume much more.

@Katya S. in the 6.0 release it was mentioned that there are pretrained models for e.g. towing. Do these also take into account extra weight? And if so, is there a table to what is configured there?
I think weight is crucial, especially when you are towing. If there is a caravan behind your car with 1500kg and you go into the mountains, that greatly influences the energy consumption up and down. That might mean an extra charging stop or greater charge when starting the ascend for example.

additional parameters for each trip
The following parameters should be changeable not only globally but also at the beginning of each trip: payload weight and intended average speed. These things are not always the same.

It is disingenuous to say weight has little to no impact on range. You could see the difference using your own tool before. A trip with just the driver and an overnight bag will use considerably less energy than the same trip with 4 people and 120kg of luggage. This effect is even more if there is a major elevation increase change on the trip. I have personally made 2000mi trip with two people and 400+kg of cargo (moving heavy shop tools) and believe me, it matters. This change was a mistake.

Thanks for reaching out. This change was intentional. ‘Additional weight’ (inside the vehicle) actually has very minimal impact on the overall consumption and was rather just taking up space in the settings menu.
What matters more is if the shape of the vehicle changes, additions such as roof boxes, trailers, etc. For these, we now have default configuration options - or the user can have the reference consumption for their specific configuration calibrated.

Are you sure there are no impact in my eTransit when i put full weight (1500kg) inside ?
This summer, i will go in the hills, i hope consumption stay accurate.

Das neue Design ist sehr schön und alles ist übersichtlich, ich finde es jedoch auch nicht gut das einige Einstellungen aktuell nicht vorhanden sind. Windgeschwindigkeit und Richtung lassen sich auch nicht mehr manuell konfigurieren. Wird es da noch eine Änderung geben? Für mich ist der Funktionsumfang aktuell eine Verschlechterung.

Thanks for the feedback on the new design. This particular ticket is tracking the 'extra/additional weight' setting. We're handling discussions about other settings, like wind, in their own dedicated tickets to keep things organized.
