We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.

Could be that the PIDs we use for an already supported vehicle model could work. Here’s what you can do once you have access to the vehicle and a dongle;
Select the actual model of your car, save it
In vehicle settings, change the model of the saved vehicle to one that you suspect has compatible OBD commands (just any model will not work, it needs to be compatible)
Link the vehicle via OBD (details here; OBD Connection )
Select the correct vehicle model again
After verifying that the data is read correctly (or even partially correctly) notify us that the OBD commands for vehicle model X also works for vehicle model Y.

Hello, Today I installed the vLinker MC+ OBD2 dongle and selected the MG4 Long Range, which is similar to the MG Cyberster concerning 77kWh Battery and 144 KW charging limit.
This worked well. Please see screenshot. The degradation is correct, since I bought my MG last week.
It would be great, if you could add the MG Cyberster Trophy and GT with the same OBD2 data configuration as the MG4 Long Range. To encourage you, I just bought the annual subscription, trusting in your support.

I can confirm that the MG Cyberster runs correctly with the vLinker MC+ OBD2 dongle and the MG4 Long Range profile (I wrote to you 3 months ago).
ABRP supports a lot of MG models and also the MG Cyberster. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support Live Data for this model (but all others). Please check and enable.

Would be happy for supporting this car via OBD2 by ABRP. Seems to be easy if I read all this here.

Request still not completed. While the MG Cyberster is visible in ABRP and OBD2 connection can be started, this returns an error, that SoC could not be found. This error happens on latest iOS version. It seems to work on Android, though.
OBD option is not available for the newly added MG Cyberster. As soon as I chose MG4, the option appeared and works fine. So I think it is a “bug”.
It would be helpful if the bug was fixed quickly.
Kind regards
Marcel

We need some data to support that car with OBD. Please make a post on this page under Integration requests and we will tell you there what information we need.

The same thing happens with my Cyberster X Power. The model is listed, but I'm not receiving any live data. The OBD is a Vlinker MC+. Data is transmitted when I select an MG4, but not from the Cyberster.

PinnedChanging this to ‘in progress’ due to issues raised in MG Cyberster OBD2 missing PID

PinnedHi,
We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
You can check our telemetry API for relevant properties:
documenter.getpostman.com/view/7396339/SWTK5a8w
Also, you can check our (partially outdated) OBD repository to see what other cars report:
https://www.github.com/iternio/ev-obd-pids
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.
