Starting app in Android auto

In my car ABRP can be visible on instrument cluster , which is very convenient, any navigation app can be visible. All other application (car navigation, Google maps) when was last time selected , next time Android auto connect - maps show may position on cluster, without extra launching app on main car screen, but ABRP can't do this and every time I need to launch app from main screen. Otherwise ABRP visible on cluster but no position, no movement. Car Jaguar i-pace, e-pace, f-pace.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Thanks for reporting and the very clear video! So if I understand correctly, with Google maps, the cluster map would work fine even if you don’t go to Android Auto in the main screen at all?

      Yes. Google service work normally at first start, I don't need to launch from main screen.

      Now ABRP working much more better, it starts on cluster always, but sometimes just no gps position. Previous app version was problem to start at all on instrument cluster, it was possible only if you launch fist Google maps, than ABRP after. Now only position sometime at fist start not updated and pointer not moving if I don't leave ABRP running last during previous trip. But, again, it's big step from previous version.

        Hello and thanks for the update - running cluster only is a case we have not properly considered and we think we have a way to fix the GPS issue. Will keep you posted.

    Unfortunately, now same behave like in past. If I have route, but than I stop, switch off car, come back in 1 min, than navigation freese in instrument cluster, waiting to launch ABRP from main intertainment screen to continue navigation. Google maps in same situation just continue.

    Map on instrument cluster

    Hello.

    Very nice future have some cars (like jaguars with last multimedia version pivi pro) that in Android auto you can see Google maps not only on screen, but on instrument cluster also. Google maps work flowlesly, but ABRP some times only, still you can get nothin on cluster, but if you start Google maps and than again ABRP, than

    ABRP map appear on instrument cluster.

      Last update improve this issue and now I can see always ABRP on instrument cluster after starting Android auto , only I need to start ABRP map on regular screen to wake up navigation. But at least this is much better! Thank you! 🙏
