OBD Support for BYD Dolphin Mini
I have a dolphin mini brazilian model 38.8kwh, im trying to get live data using Vgate iCar Pro 2S dongle. It fails on third step getting soc data. I can get live data from vehicle using Car Scanner app.
Let me know if theres any debug data I can send to help fix implementation for this model.
- What type of vehicle connection is this?

Hi
To help us figure out what happen we need you to send a bug report. First you need to enable the bug button in the settings. Go to the settings and scroll all the way down.
The bug button will show on your screen. When the OBD is connected to your car and the car is in drive mode click at the button. Then let me know when you have done this.

We don’t get any data and it does not say why. Sometimes it’s a bad example of the dongle that makes it fail.

Ive sent the report again. This time from beta version of the app and ive sent from both a ios and an android phone. What i did was open the app click the Link button inside ABRP OBD Connection in car settings page connect to iOS-VLink device (BLE) and after failing on third step go back to mais page and click bug button.

Unfortunately we still don’t get any data. Can you try to use the car scanner app and send us the logs from that app?

'Unable to read SOC via OBD for BYD Dolphin Mini
Hello,
I am trying to connect ABRP to my car using a BLE4.0
Dual OBD2 adapter on iOS, but l am unable to read the State of Charge (SOC) from the vehicle.
Here are the details of my issue:
App Version: 6.1.4 (3567)
Adapter Model: BLE4.0 Dual (compatible with iOS and Android)
Phone: iPhone (iOS 17)
Symptoms:
Connection to BLE established successfully
The app fails connecting to the vehicle (red X)
Error: "Failed to process OBD data commands.
Could not find the SoC in the car's data response."
In PID test, "failed to parse response" after writing command ATL
Other OBD2 apps are unable to read SoC as well
have tried:
Resetting app settings and OBD adapter
Checking OBD2 port and reconnecting
Confirming permissions for Bluetooth and Location are enabled
Searching for car compatibility and known issues (no solution found)
Is my vehicle not supported for live SOC readings via
OBD2? Any suggested workaround or PID configuration?
Thank you for your help!

"In the Car Scanner app, all parameters are read correctly with this BLE adapter. It is only this app where it does not work."
