10km detour, when higway entry is 500 meters from startpoint.
Starting from home, ABRP propose me to take the highway entry 10km’s away, while my starting point is 500 meters away from the highway entry.

PinnedHi @Hans Deveuster ,
Could you please provide a link to the ABRP plan where this happens?

Hi Hans
It seems to work now. Do you get the correct plan if you try it now?

Ok. I have sent it to a colleague so he can look at it.

My colleague wrote “The problem is with this ramp closure that we badly match to the highway because of the overlapping geometry.” My colleague could not promise that we are able to fix this.

Ok, thx for the clarification. So, everyone will get the advice from the app to leave the highway :-)
Google maps seems to be smarter.

Yes, unfortunately. Right now we are not able to get this kind of data from Google maps.

Thanks for your support.
For me ABRP is a great app and using it since 2020 for vacation planning and long distance drives.

Hi @Hans Deveuster ,
I looked at another detour post created by you in:
10km detour, when higway entry is 500 meters from startpoint.
So, before I take action, I am just checking if they are related and have the same fundamental problem?
If so, “The problem is with this ramp closure that we badly match to the highway because of the overlapping geometry.“ is still the latest status.

Hello yes, it is the same issue. Sorry for that double entry.
