Ability to skip next waypoint in CarPlay

Yes, we need this! But not just in CarPlay, in the phone app too.

This weekend I was able to use ABRP to plan out some quite sophisticated routes visiting lots of stops, with many stops out of areas of cell phone coverage. It worked amazing, except for one terrible bug/problem: if I turned around and went the other way for a bit, or if I didn’t quite get all the way to a stops exact location, it wouldn’t recognize the next stop correctly. It would try to route me to some other stop I’d already (nearly) visited.

If I had cell phone coverage, and a safe place to stop, I could go into my phone and manually delete earlier stops until only the remaining stops were showing, and then replan the (new, reduced) trip. But one can’t plan a new trip without cell phone coverage, and stopping on the side of the road is time consuming and not always safe.

So, if we could just “skip next stop” on CarPlay (or even on the phone) and continue on the route already planned without replanning, it would work even when there’s no cell coverage, and without needing to stop the car.

I appreciate that sometimes when someone is “skipping next stop” they want to be re-routed. I suppose if cell service and the routing system is available, it makes sense to reroute. But, if cell service is unavailable, it should just pick up the route/plan that’s already there, but further along the journey, going forward (rather than backward).

So, yes, please, this is the ONLY thing that went wrong on my trip, and it was actually a big problem.
