OBD support for new Dacia Spring 2024

It seems the New Dacia spring 2024 is not supported yet in your database. This could be the cause of impossibility to link vehicle to OBD dongle. Thanks in advance.

What type of vehicle connection is this?

    Hi,

    Please add more information such as;

    • OBD device model and does it use BLE?

    • Does the OBD have the latest firmware?

    • Error messages if any given

    Unless you already have, please read this article;

    Hi,

    We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.

    You can check our telemetry API for relevant properties:
    documenter.getpostman.com/view/7396339/SWTK5a8w

    Also, you can check our (partially outdated) OBD repository to see what other cars report:
    https://www.github.com/iternio/ev-obd-pids

    If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.

      Could be that the PIDs we use for an already supported vehicle model could work. Here’s what you can do once you have access to the vehicle and a dongle;

      1. Select the actual model of your car, save it

      2. In vehicle settings, change the model of the saved vehicle to one that you suspect has compatible OBD commands (just any model will not work, it needs to be compatible)

      3. Link the vehicle via OBD (details here; OBD Connection )

      4. Select the correct vehicle model again

      5. After verifying that the data is read correctly (or even partially correctly) notify us that the OBD commands for vehicle model X also works for vehicle model Y.

        Hi Katya and the ABRP team,

        I’ve been testing the Dacia Spring 2024/2025 (facelift) with some custom PIDs and I've managed to get a working stable configuration.

        To get things started, here are the parameters and the initialization sequence I’m successfully using:

        • Init & Protocol: ATSP7, ATE0, ATAL, ATM0, ATSH7ADBF1, ATCRA18DAF1DB, Keep Alive 0100.

        • Verified PIDs: > * SOC: 229002 → INT16(A:B)/100 (%)

          • SOH: 229003 → 0.01*INT16(A:B) (%)

          • Voltage: 229006 → INT32(A:B:C:D)/1024 (V)

          • Current: 229284 → 0.001*INT32(SIGNED(A):B:C:D)*-1 (A)

          • Battery compartment Temp: 229012 → (INT16(A:B)/16)-40 (°C)

          • Energy: 2291C8 → 0.001*INT16(A:B) (kWh)

        Please let me know if these informations are enough to start building the profile or if you need more to make the integration complete.

        Looking forward to hearing from you!

    I can confirm the OBD (vLinker MC+) connect correctly and get information for the SoC correctly. The SoH on the contrary seems off as it report 3% degradation for a car with barely 6 months of use. I will try playing with the OBD PID from the Dacia to see if I can get a better accuracy for the other data (hopefully they didn't change the equations?).

    The model I used for the connection is the Zoe 2020- Z.E. 50 R135 with CCS. I know this is not a priority for the dev team, but hopefully is’s easy enough that they can implement it quickly ♥️

    Hi @Dacia Spring ,

    Make sure that the dongle isn’t connected to any other app before attempting to link it to ABRP.

    Does the OBD have the latest firmware?

    I cannot seem to link my vehicle via OBD. What can I do?

    Choosing an OBD device

    Link your vehicle via an OBD device

    If you have no success after reading above articles/posts, we suggest clicking the bug report button. To help us figure out what happen we need you to send a bug report. First you need to enable the bug button in the settings. Go to the settings and scroll all the way down.

    The bug button will show on your screen. When the OBD is connected to your car and the car is in drive mode click at the button. Then let me know when you have done this.
