Zoom return too soon

When navigating, I sometimes want to zoom out to see. My iOS app immediately restores the original zoom level, making it impossible to read something. It doesn’t even allow me to zoom out with multiple gestures.

I’d expect something like a 10 second delay after the last zoom/pan gesture.
