Wrong information about tolls in Portuguese highway A23
Planning some routes in Portugal, the ABRP signals the highway A23 as having tolls.
This highway, as some others, doesn’t have tolls a long time.

What I can find this road is a “electronic "free-flow" toll road” and you must register your license plate for payment to avoid fines.

Let me update the complete information.
That highway, as some others, had free-flow electronic toll.
But since 01/01/2025, in the following highways we don’t pay tolls in all extension or in some parts, I will specify:
- A4 (we don’t pay in concessão Transmontana and Túnel do Marão)
- A13 (we don’t pay between Entroncamento and Coimbra);
- A13-1 (all extension);
- in A13 between Almeirim and the conexion with A2/A6, we still pay;
- A22 (Algarve);
- A23 (Beira Interior);
- A24 (Interior Norte);
- A25 (Beiras Litoral e Alta) - all extension except between Esgueira and Albergaria
- A28 (Minho) - we don’t pay between Esposende and Antas and between Neiva and Darque.
