thanks for getting back Katya. I have spoken to the Vgate people and they tell me it should simply connect... even without using the passord on LE bluetooth. No matter what i try with the settings on the galaxy s23 ultra, it will not connect. . see pic... .any commments and ideas greatly appreciated as i was looking forward to using this app for long time :(

forgot to say the vehicle is a hyundai ioniq 5 EV , 2022 modell

I have tried the app and same icar2 dongke with a galaxy s21ultra that has Bluetooth 5.2...same result in not connecting,😐. I do hope you can help!

As mentioned, not only have all apps been disconnected, but I went to the extreme and reset the phone! No other app used other than thise on the android OS.
As mentioned, the standard Bluetooth app works with car scanner.
There are many many people complaining of the same problem as myself.
I am sorry ABRP does not accept this as their problem and I would suggest that ABRP specifically state that r the vgate icar2 NOT be used with ABRP. Sincerely.
