Why am I often >not< using ABRP for navigation....

On longer trips on not known routes, you’ll never really know how far you will get! Not even with ABRP (road works , traffic jams, weather…). So very often, I plan a charger, which I will reach 100%, and often plan another one, which I’d like to reach to have few charging stops and use the full range. Sometimes maybe a third one in between, if really uncertain. So, during driving, I’ll check with what SoC I’ll reach the first and alternatively with what SoC I’ll reach the next planned charger. >ABRP really helps me with that information!< Whenever I decide to skip the next charger, especially on smaller roads, no highways/motorways, ABRP insists to send me back to the passed charger for quite a long time - and does not offer any navigation info, how to proceed with the route without the passed charger. Often happened to me. Often went the wrong way. Always needed to stop, cancel the navigation, find the passed waypoint on the list (not easy without numbers), sometimes by chance deleted the whole route (one arrow press too much…), delete the passed waypoint and replan the route and tap tap drive… . Several other systems have a button (or even better a voice command) „skip next waypoint“ or „skip last waypoint“, which causes the system not just to delete the waypoint, but also to replan and restart the route. During driving it is nearly impossible to edit the waypoint list.

And this is the problem with ABRP. It often forces me to stop (sometimes dangerous…), delete the waypoint… - just to skip an unnecessary charger. On a motorway this is usually no problem, as ABRP skip automatically after a few moments and you just go straight on. Inside a town, you need a proper navigation for the further route >at once<!
