Connection issues 2024 Honda Prologue and Enode
Enode used to be fairly reliable for live SoC in my 2024 Honda Prologue but in the past few months is rarely connect to give me live SoC readings. I pay for a Premium subscription BECAUSE of the Enode connection. If it doesn’t work and ABRP is in no hurry to enable OBDII connection, what makes my subscription worth the money?

This post was marked “Complete” but it is not complete. ABRP said that Enode pointed the finger at online forum reports that HondaLink was unreliable lately, but HondaLink has become MORE stable and consistent, while Enode no longer provides ANY live SoC data from my Prologue. I get Zzzz constantly and incorrect SoC data. I even deleted my vehicle from ABRP, losing all my historical data and added a new Prologue and logged ABRP back into HondaLink, but the zero connection issue persists. I strongly believe that this is an Enode issue and that they should take an empirical and scientific approach to investigating this rather than just reading the heresy of online forums and pointing fingers. AND, they should enable OBD-2 Bluetooth connections for live in-car data. Premium troubleshooting for a premium service.

We've looked into it and can confirm this is related to ongoing reliability issues with Honda's backend services.
HondaLink has been experiencing widespread outages and degraded performance over the past several months. This is affecting Honda owners broadly, not just those using Enode connections. There's substantial community discussion documenting the issue:

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do on our end to resolve this, the issue originates from Honda's infrastructure. The end user may want to report the issue directly to Honda as well, as increased visibility may help prioritize a fix on their side.
We're continuing to monitor Honda's API stability and will update if we see sustained improvement.

Your car is a newer vehicle model that Enode is still collecting data on. I talked to them and I will make a report so they can look at it and see if the can improve the connection.
