Weird map rendering issues regarding names

The map has some weird choices regarding the name it’s giving to things. I think they can be considered a bug, especially because they are weird.

Some examples:

It seems you’re rendering the wikmedia_commons name instead of name?

In this case it gives an hilariously long name…

Or, on a more general view:

Which, again, seems you’re taking the name out of wikimedia:

But yeah, I’ve seen during driving some hilariously long names on things, like the caste on the first example.

Can you please explain the rationale for this?
