Vlink odb2 won’t connect
I have a Vlinker FS ODB2 dongle that connects to my phone just fine, but the app does not recognize it. when I try to link it through the app it just spins continuously not finding it
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

Yes. It connects to other odb2 scanners with out issue. It’s the Vlinker FS model cv304

To help us figure out what happens we need you to send a bug report. First you need to enable the bug button in the settings. Go to the settings → Display & appearance and scroll all the way down.
The bug button will show on your screen. When the OBD is connected to your car and the car is in drive mode click at the button. Then let me know when you have done this.

Please do. The dongle connects to my phone automatically in Bluetooth, but I don’t see it as an option in your app. I went ahead and started paying for your app thinking that might solve the problem but now I’m paying for an app that doesn’t work. Appreciate your help.

My colleague think it's the dongle that is the problem. According to the logs It does not seem to use BLE. You can read about the OBD we recommend here Choosing an OBD device

It can be something wrong with the dongle. Since we don’t get any data there is nothing we can do.
