Vgate iCar Pro 2S Bluetooth handshake succeeds but fails on car configuration connection (iOS)

App Version: Version 7.1.4 (5924)
Vehicle: 2022 Renault Megane E-Tech (60kWh)
OBD2 Hardware: Vgate iCar Pro 2S Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

What happens:
When attempting to link my Vgate iCar Pro 2S OBD2 dongle to the iOS app for live data telemetry, the pairing protocol successfully passes the "Loading car configuration" and "BLE connection status" verification milestones with green checkmarks. However, at the final step where it queries the vehicle data stream, the app halts and displays an "OBD Connection Failed" popup modal.

Steps I have already taken to troubleshoot:

  1. Verified that the Megane E-Tech is fully switched on and in "Ready" status / accessory mode.

  2. Force-closed all other potential background diagnostic applications (such as Car Scanner or CanZE) to avoid Bluetooth channel hijacking.

  3. Toggled system Bluetooth on the iPhone off and on again, and physically un-plugged and re-inserted the Vgate scanner.

  4. Double-checked iOS system privacy permissions to ensure ABRP has active "Bluetooth" access.

Expected result:
The app should translate the BLE connection into an active vehicle data stream to pull the State of Charge (SoC).

Actual result:
The connection initialization protocol fails at the vehicle mapping step, looping back to the "OBD Connection Failed" screen.
