Suggestions for Improvements to ABRP Premium – Apple CarPlay and VW ID. Light

Hello, dear ABRP team,

I use ABRP Premium in my VW ID.4 GTX (model year 2025) via Apple CarPlay in conjunction with an OBD dongle.

I’m very satisfied with the charging planning, the live battery data, and the updates on available charging ports.

However, there are two features I’d still like to see:

1. Voice prompts for detours around traffic jams: When ABRP automatically recalculates a route based on traffic conditions, a brief voice prompt would be very helpful. Currently, the route changes without me even noticing.

2. Support for VW ID. Light: It would be great if ABRP’s turn-by-turn directions could also be displayed via the ID. Light LED strip in the Volkswagen, similar to the original VW navigation system.

With these two improvements, ABRP would be nearly the perfect navigation solution for electric vehicles for me.
