iOS app high battery consumption

After latest update app seems useless due battery drain for long trip. I have decided to use ABRP app for plan trip and stops add to navigation system of my car manually. Use ABRP via CarPlay extremely drains battery of my iPhone 16Pro especially in combination with play Apple Music. It causing a lot of lagging and app freezing. I don’t know if subscription still makes sense for me. It’s really pitty because I have trusted in potential of this solution. Unfortunately designers are not able to optimise code and make app professional. Unfortunately it seems as app for fun.

Where does this happen?

    Hi @Petr Boehm,

    Could you check if uninstalling and reinstalling the app improves the behavior?

    We’ve worked hard to improve performance and reduce resource consumption for the iOS app, and currently, this only happens if something’s gone wrong in the installation of the app. What exactly, we’re not sure of.

    I have the same concern regarding drainage of my iphone battery. As it stands today the app is useless apart from trip planning. Data that then can be used in another app, line waze or google maps. I have an ionity subscription and am now thinking about closing down my abrp account and use ionity route planner instead.
