Unhelpful Charger Choices

I just drove from Loule (Faro Portugal) to Peniscola (Valencia Spain) and back. On several occasions the choice of charger made by ABRP was unhelpful (selection: optimal, no filters):

1. Right in the middle of the tourist area of Seville (I only needed to pass by Seville) - worse still, there was no charger there!

2. Heading East later ABRP announced I had arrived at the charger - nothing to be seen. Observing the blue track line it turned out the charger was ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOTORWAY! I had to leave the motorway, backtrack to the charger then recover to my eastbound motorway. All this was not my initiative but the ABRP planning.

3. On 2 occasions the navigation directed me to a point where there was no charger. By looking around I was able to see that ABRP had turned me off at a roundabout too early.

4. There were several other examples - I won’t bore you with them. I have used ABRP before for a 4000 km round trip (January 2026) - now this 2000 km round trip. I am less impressed with the app now than I was 7 months ago - all because of the problems, frustration and delays caused by the above.
