Underestimation
The app chronically underestimates the battery consumption. Raising the reference consumption manually to 130 Wh/km does not help. As a result I never reach the intended charging station. When I need to find a closer alternative, the app does not allow me to click on a displayed charger on the map in the car. ABRP receives correct live date from the car (Enode connection).
I am using the paid version in a Volvo EX30.
Questions:
Why is the battery always empty before I arrive at the intended charging station, planned by ABRP? What setting needs to be changed?
Why does ABRP not automatically replan, when the intended charging station can no longer be reached?
Why can’t I manually replan, using the app display (in Apple CarPlay)? (I can find restaurants, parkings, etc. but there is no option for nearby charging stations).

The default Reference consumption for a Volvo EX30 is around 170 Wh/km so the 130 you’re using is actually relatively low. What is the initial value you’re changing from?

Hi Katya, it was on “automatic “, so it took the data from the EX30 and that clearly did not give any useable result. I just changed it to 200 Wh/km and replanned. Still 300 km to go so we will see whether this workaround works.

Okay, I can see that you’ve got two nearly identical vehicles on your account. One with a calibrated ref cons at 188 wh/km and one at 189 wh/km. (So the calibrated Reference consumption seems fine, but there may be an issue with a different setting)
Which of the vehicles does this issue concern?

No, you have in fact two saved vehicles on your account. The additional one hasn’t been connected for quite some time but has some activities logged in the end of april - beginning of may this year. Should I go ahead and delete it along with the logged activities?

I have driven another 200 km at 120-140 km/h after I had set the reference consumption to 220 Wh/km and replanned. Now the predicted remaining charge only reduced from 12% to 10%. Still not correct but better. However, 220 Wh/km is a too high consumption. How is that possible? Why doesn’t the automatic setting work correctly?

I can see that the calibrated Reference consumption for the remaining vehicle copy now is down to 107 wh/km which is very low (considering the default being 170 wh/km)
I would therefore suggest to follow the instructions in: My calibrated reference consumption seems off. How can I reset the calibration?
I’ve also checked your settings for ‘Speed’ and your Reference speed is set to 105%. It’ll depend on what the initial speed limit is on the roads, if the resulted ‘planned speed’ matches the one you’re driving at.
In other words, if:
ref. speed x speed limit = planned speedmatches the 120-140 km/h you’re driving at.

Did it revert directly to 107? The calibration process takes time (and driving) so this seems very odd.

Yes, it went back to 107 immediately. After that I drove another 150 km and it’s still 107. And of course, the indication of expected remaining SOC is is still wrong.
