Unable to get ABRP to allow type 2 plug for planning Austrailia trip

I am exploring a road trip in Australia (I’m located in the US) but the planner will not offer Type 2 plugs as an option (only CCS1, NACS, and Level 2). I’ve tried Telsa M3, Kia EV5, and BYD acco 3 as vehicles. Is there a way to use the “local” EV plugs for planing?

    The Level 2 chargers are the same as the Type 2 chargers so you can select that for your plan in Australia. Which vehicle will you specifically be renting when in Australia? If you know that, then we can check which connectors the vehicle has and if you can sue fast chargers aswell. Do you want to use CCS2 chargers too?

      As I said I’ve tried several vehicles (see above) and specifically selected for ccs (and other time selected nothing) but unless I select level 2 the planner will not add any charge stops to the plan. Today the route seems to behaving better with level 2 selected it will show a route although in some cases it selects the level 2 (open to all) where a fast charger (subscription) is available even though I have selected the relevant network as preferred. The route is a circumnavigation of Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane). I’m looking find out if it is possible before locking a particular vehicle, most likely a purchase and sale rather than rental.

        After doing some more tinkering it appears that if I at any point during the session let ABRP know my location (United States) it will fail to plan the route even though the starting and ending points of the route are inside Austrailia.

          Could you please send us an example plan that had CCS and Type 2 charger included and another one where you only have Level 2 as the vehicle’s plug type?
