Unable to calculate itinerary with ferry route

Hi, yet another downgrade in functionality since later updates : it no longer integrates ferry routes into an itinerary. Before it was not easy to do but manageable once you understood how to position waypoints. Yesterday I tried to calculate an itinerary with the ferry route Bingen-Rüdesheimer. I tried using all waypoints proposed by the calculator, none worked, they made me go around until the next bridge. I tried to use manually positioned waypoints on the ferry route, did not work either.
I tried to read FAQ and User Manuel but nothing in there to help understanding.
Please revert us to the old versions that were working fine !
