UI element to tell you to start preconditioning the battery...

For those using CarPlan/AA or just the app for live navigation … and where the car offers a manual preconditioning option … please add support to the live navigation telling you when to enable manual preconditioning. The support should take into account the cost of preconditioning (lower efficiency until start charging, plus the energy cost to heat/cool off the battery) and have some guardrails to not tell you to turn it on if you’re already running low on battery percentage, and not turn it on too early/etc.

Bonus points if you can get OBD data to know the battery temps.

Don’t gate to cars known to offer this function. Allow it as a per-car toggle. (My Tesla doesn’t officially offer it, but Enhance-Auto allows access to it, for example)
