UI Display of Stops (bottom left) in Android Auto

Feature Requests

I think it would be useful if the display in the bottom left, which currently has no further function, could be adapted. Tapping it should successively show the next stops on the planned route, provided the route has more than one stop. A numbering system would be useful here, as long as there is more than one stop before the final destination. The information could be displayed similarly to the 'i' (information) button.

For example:

  • 1. STOP Address XXX km / Arrival at xx:xx / 58%

  • 2. STOP Address XXX km / Arrival at xx:xx / 34% Charging 34% -> 85%

  • 3. DESTINATION Address XXX km / Arrival at xx:xx / 21%

After the first stop is reached, the numbering would be reduced by 1.

I guess it would be easier for divers than the i-Button.

    I was about to post the same suggestion. For me the most important part is the arrival time.

    I like this. A lot.

    I’d also like to have an easy way to toggle between the current display & the either the next stop or the destination (my two most frequent use cases). Maybe a tap to toggle between next stop & destination and a swipe to move between upcoming stops. I would be really nice if when you did that the map would adjust zoom to show you the remaining part of the route and would highlight the stop currently displayed at the bottom.

    After a period of no swipes the display would revert to the most recently tapped option.

    A clear indication of what was being displayed would be really nice too.
