Two vehicle arrows show when using ABRP in CarPlay with OBDLink CX and no route planned

I just got and installed a OBDLink CX and tied it in to ABRP on my iPhone. I wanted to take a few drives to bump up my reference consumption. For some of them I did not put in a route. Those times I noticed I had an extra arrow hanging off of my actual location that mostly followed me everywhere I went. Sometimes it would be left behind and will then catch up and be in the same position. If I have a route, then it does not show up. This looks to be a visual bug. I commonly drive short distances without a route and would like to keep ABRP up as a visual but really don’t want this visual artifact. My vehicle is a 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range. Anyone seen this before?

    A fix is included with ABRP 5.6.2 being released this week. Thanks again for reporting!

    Same here, both arrows move too, spooky :)

    I have GPS being fed to the API in parallel though (using a special app api key given by Bo for a nodered extension (still on it, but holidays and work put me off a bit))

    Do you mean that the red vehicle marker and the blue device position icon are in different places?

      there are 2 red arrows when I use carplay

      Thank you for reporting! It seems like the app has ended up in a state where your (saved) car is not properly selected. Can you try selecting a random car model (without saving) and then selecting your saved car again?

      Also, just to double check: You don’t have your car shared through a group share or similar?

        That is correct. I do not have my car shared through a group share or similar.

        I just tried to select another vehicle “2023-2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range” and the CarPlay screen showed the following (The car with the double arrows):

        I then went back and selected my original vehicle again, and it showed the double arrows as I originally reported. It did not fix the issue. Note that I have also tried adding this vehicle again fresh and experienced the same double arrow issue. Also note that the double arrows only appear on the CarPlay screen and not the app screen.

    I have a similar issue with CarPlay, however no OBD device is used. I too have the two arrows, also on the main CarPlay screen the upper arrow just turns as I drive and the screen only shows this huge map and not a dynamic driving view like in previous versions (if I manually zoom in I end up somewhere in Poland). HOWEVER that smaller view I can display in the cars main instrument cluster (left in the photo) always seems to work as expected. It seems to “recalibrate” quite often, though. I get a proper “driving view” in the main screen only when I plan a route and start navigating.
