Tweek to drag calcs

we just drove from Ely NV to Provo UT and back today. We started out early in the am when it was cold out. Driving at the speed limit, without accessories on, caused us to use much more electricity than the app expected. And that is a big deal because there isn’t really anything for ~190 miles. But by the time we started back in the afternoon it was warm out, still there was a miss match. We had to stay about 5 mph, judged by the gps speed, below the speed limit to stay on budget for power. But by the time we were back up at altitude in the warm late afternoon, we could drive the speed limit or a little above and stay on budget.

I think your program miss calculates the air density and hence the drag. And the miss is bigger at lower altitudes and lower temperatures.

I’m still really glad I had the program so I could insure I could stay on budget independent of outside conditions and grades.

thanks
