Turn Navigation Blocks Range Display Uconnect (Jeep Wagoner S)
Turn-by-turn directions pop up in a gray box on the left-hand side of the drivers display on the Uconnect system in 2024/2025 Jeep Wagoneer S models. This popup blocks the range meter, but also pops up every mile even after being cleared. This happened with 40+ miles before the next turn occurred and was very distracting.

Thank you for reporting - it looks like a strange implementation of CarPlay in the car. How do other nav apps behave in the car (like Apple or Google maps)?

Apple Maps and Waze give next turn alerts on the center stack screen, not on the main driver’s info screen. Also, like I said in the original post, the popup sown by ABRP comes up very far in advance of the actual “next turn”, in this case it started 41 miles out from the turn and kept popping up every mile even after the alert was dismissed. I had to quit ABRP and put the next charging destination address into Waze because it was so distracting.

This is data which is intended for a HUD (for vehicles which support it) and it seems like the implementation in the Jeep is a bit unfortunate. Today there is no way to turn it off in ABRP but I will discuss with the team if we should add such an option.

Waze does not support cluster (steering wheel screen) maps nor instructions in CarPlay. Can you try Apple Maps?
