Turn directions too early

I have a VW ID.7, and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra connected via usb-C running in the car under android auto.

When navigating, the prompts come up verbally, and via the AR HUD, but they always appear about 5-10 meters early. When using Google Maps or the VW nav, the turn indicators are exactly where you'd expect them to be, and the AR turn indicators are right at the turn.

I've also noticed that when using satellite view on the maps, my car often appears to tbe side of the road, rarhe than on it.
