Tunnel handling improved, but there is a bug

It seems the tunnel handling when loosing GPS is a lot better now, but there is a bug with it.
When I was driving through the Gudvanga (11.5km) and Lærdal (24.5km) tunnel the other day I noticed the positioning jumping forward and back several times. This caused the total logged route distance to be much longer that in reality. It actually added over 40km extra to a drive that is less than 200km long.

The issue only started after some time in the Gudvanga tunnel. I was probably 2/3 to ¾ through before it started. In the Lærdal tunnel it started after only 3-4km.

Shorter tunnels seem to be working fairly well now from what I’ve seen. Haven’t had time to test it more.

Where does this happen?

    I would like to add to the tunnel issues, that here, on my route between Effingen and Zürich, immediately after getting on the highway, there are 3 tunnels coming up.

    The map freezes when driving through Bözbergtunnel (3.1 km), Schinznacherfeld(450 m) and Habsburgtunnel (1.5 km), but the signal recovers afterwards, immediately after stepping out of the tunnels.

    Google Maps works flawlessly, the car navigation works flawlessly.

    The connection is being done via OBD connection with ABRP on a 2019 Hyundai Kona.

    Since this is my route to work, I can submit the bug report when I’ll drive to work this morning

      I have clicked on the “Report Bug” button a few times where I noticed the issue occurring, and on the AA screen I saw that the report was said to be uploaded.

      How can I attach them here?

    Thanks for reporting! If you have the chance, it would help us if you can submit a bug report in Android Auto, in the settings screen there should be a bug button in the top right corner.

      I guess this would have to be while the bug is happening right?

      Unfortunately I don’t drive this route very often.

      I do have the trip log in my account though. Not sure if that helps?
