Toyota bZ4X Touring AWD 2026 – OBD SoC does not match dashboard SoC and can exceed 100%

Hello ABRP Team,

First of all, thank you for creating such an excellent application. I use ABRP Premium and really enjoy it.

I would like to report what appears to be an issue with the State of Charge (SoC) reported through OBD on my vehicle.

Toyota bZ4X Touring AWD 2026

ABRP Premium

vLinker MC+ BLE OBD adapter

Android phone

Wireless Android Auto

The issue

The OBD connection works correctly.

ABRP detects the vehicle correctly.

The OBD connection status is green.

Live data is received without interruptions.

Enode is also connected successfully.

However, the battery percentage shown by ABRP does not match the percentage shown on the vehicle dashboard.

Examples

Example 1

The Toyota dashboard showed 97%.

At exactly the same time ABRP showed 93%.

Both Enode and OBD were connected.

Example 2

After charging the vehicle to 100%, ABRP displayed 104% battery.

A battery State of Charge above 100% should not be possible.

Additional information

The difference is not constant.

Sometimes ABRP reports a lower SoC than the dashboard.

At other times it reports values above 100%.

Several Toyota bZ4X owners in the Danish community told me this may be related to the PID formula currently used by ABRP.

One experienced user explained that the PID values are not perfectly calibrated for the 2026 Toyota bZ4X Touring.

What I have already tested

Restarted the vehicle.

Restarted the phone.

Reconnected the OBD adapter.

Verified that the OBD connection is stable.

Confirmed that live data continues to work.

Confirmed that Enode is connected correctly.

The problem remains.

My question

Could you please verify whether the PID formula or SoC calculation for the Toyota bZ4X Touring 2026 needs to be updated or recalibrated?
