The latest update HUD BUG

Hi In the latest sw. Update we got the map in the hud display in vw id cars. However there are a bug. If you have multiple destinations programmed in. When etc. you arrive at the first stop.. when you continue on your trip, the nav. In the hud displays disappear. You have to press “go back” and then let it calculate the route again. I have one more thing that is not a bug, but it has to be a mistake. Why can’t I tap on the map at all, to see more about an poi, or just to tap the map to mark that as a distanation. All other navigation apps can do that. And if you could also tap the charger that is the next in the stop, to see more information pop up about the charger you are going to

    Hi and thanks for reaching out to us :)

    Since we have added cluster map support on Android Auto and CarPlay, which one are you using?

    On your first issue, arriving at the first waypoint, do you keep your phone connected to the car? Or are you disconnecting and reconnecting later? Are you using a wired or a wireless connection?

    On the second issue, which map are you talking about? The one on the cluster/behind the steering wheel? Or the one on the center console?

      I am on iPhone iOS 18.2. When I have charged, and the car has been off. I get in, connect to the car, and drive away. When I drive away the guidance disappears from the cluster and the HUD.

        Ok, thanks. I’ll see if I can reproduce and fix it.

        On the map pressing thing, I just checked it on Apple Maps and Google Maps but none of these support map pressing on the CarPlay main screen. Can you give me some more details on what is not working exactly for you on that topic?

          Yes. And I think you at right it is not a bug.. just something the app can’t do. But you can’t press a POI on CarPlay, or on the phone. It does not make sense that you can’t press etc. a charger on the map, and then navigate to it. And, if you instead just type in the address of a charger, you do not get any info on the charger because the app does not recognize you are going to a charger. Allso map pressing could open up for the possibility to when you are on a long trip with chargers, then you could press on the next charger and info on the charger you have on the phone pop up and you can see it on the apple home screen
