Takeaways from my first long trip..

CARPLAY:

I’d love to be able to tap, to toggle between total route length left and distance/time to next stop.

I’d love to be able to tap to see amenities at the next charging stop.

PLANNING:

Is there a way to “weight” or prefer charger networks over others.

I know I can BLOCK charger networks or types. I have the Tesla membership so because of cost I’d PREFER a Supercharger over say a ChargePoint charger. I wish I could apply a weighting factor to a Supercharger. A sliding scale to push the route towards a supercharger unless there isn’t one to satisfy my trip parameters (SOC on charger arrival etc..)

Additionally, I found myself on a number of back roads as directed by ABRP. Is there a way to do a similar weighting towards the fastest/most direct route i.e. weight highway over side roads. On a long road trip where the destination is the priority, I may not want to deviate from the highway just to minimize drive complexity. Again a sliding scale to PREFER highways but not exclude side roads if absolutely necessary.

I didn’t see a way to recover the target charge number. I’d like to be able to select the CURRENT charge stop in the detailed secondary phone screen, and see the stop parameters. Time at stop, target SOC%, etc… Maybe this could be a place to include linking the stop to reported amenities??

En route deviation:

This one may be on me and my lack of familiarity with the interface. I saw how you can make an alternate charger selection. How can I while en route ADD a charging stop. Maybe I find a faulty charger, maybe I miss a turn, maybe I need a bio break and want to charge at the same time…
