When making calculations, it is not currently possible to take into account whether the car has a trailer, a bicycle rack on the roof or rear, or a roof box, even though this significantly affects consumption.
It would be better if the system could extract the current average consumption data from the car via an API. The same applies to changes in the current charge level. This would help the app to "teach itself" depending on how accurately it has calculated.
During a 3,000 km test drive, the most annoying thing was that we planned the route at the start and set off immediately. Even at the first stop, everything was already off. The percentage of energy remaining in the car is not the same, we don't always charge as much as recommended, and we don't always stay at the gas station for as long as previously planned. In such cases, we always have to restart the calculation from the beginning and re-plan the route from the gas station before departure. It would be much easier if the car's LCD display (not the phone) allowed us to update the departure time, set the percentage of charge using a one-handed slider, and automatically re-plan the remaining route. This could also be done while driving if the plan differs significantly from the actual data. In our case, the plan was quite pessimistic, but if I exceeded the specified speed, it was too optimistic. This affects the accuracy of the estimate. If this cannot be continuously updated from the car via API, then at least it should be possible to do this manually in stages, so that more accurate calculations can be made. It would be good to have another option: if I enter my preferred gas stations and charging cards, and if there are not enough preferred gas stations available for the trip, it would offer me a selection of gas stations covered by my cards that meet the charging speed and cost expectations in the given area, e.g. a table where the charging stations of the charging service providers along the route can be sorted by speed and price. If I manually select the ones that suit me from these, the route would plan those stations into the route. This could be very helpful in terms of speed and cost, for example.
