Subaru Trailseeker, Lord have mercy

I’m a new user with Subaru Trailseeker. I’ve read that ABRP is the only option for trip planning for this car, paid for CarPlay access, purchased VLinker MC+ OBD dongle. No matter what I do it doesn’t work right, no live data, it can’t find my VLinker dongle unless I select Subaru Solterra! And then it is 4% off, showing SOC 70% when car shows 66%. I googled and it has suggested to edit PID, I tried a different formula for the command (bunch of formulas) , but it does nothing! I saw correct updated number a couple of times after I submit it, but then it jumps to 70% again. I’ve wasted 4 hours trying to make it all work, never been so frustrated, paid $5 for program that doesn’t work and $50 for VLinker which is a dead weight now. I mean if you are doing it as a favor to all - I get it, but for a commercial product it is not acceptable. Trying to drive without OBD with ABRP is just a nightmare, I enter SOC manually, then middle of the drive after a stop it resets back to original full battery and tells me I don’t need to charge and recalculates it totally incorrectly, while GPS (another nightmare) puts me on a wrong street on top of everything!
