stuck with last android auto location

When using my phone stand-alone, the “current location” used for route planning is the last android auto location registered with the app running in the car. Even though the app sees my current location (which in this instance is hundreds of miles away).

I'm actually regretting paying for premium since I don't think I could even have this bug without android auto integration.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    You should be able to toggle to ABRP using your device location instead of the last vehicle location here:

    I’m not sure if it’s related, but I’ve seen similar confusion about the current location in the web version & in the iOS / CarPlay version in a KIA (so no AA as far as I know). So, maybe not related to AA at all?
