stuck with last android auto location

When using my phone stand-alone, the “current location” used for route planning is the last android auto location registered with the app running in the car. Even though the app sees my current location (which in this instance is hundreds of miles away).

I'm actually regretting paying for premium since I don't think I could even have this bug without android auto integration.
