Stuck alternate route, failure to recalculate

When departing location the recommended path was to travel to the local charger and charge from 90% to 99%. Departed at 97% and started abrp a short distance into the drive. Shortly after I was offered an alternate route, this "alternate" route was to travel BACK to town and charge. It continued to present this route for the next HOUR and even presented it as an alternate with +2hr. This included when traveling directly past fast chargers on our way to the recommended charger.
