strange routing

In this route:

The offered routes are very much longer than they should be, because they do not use the obvious road between the source and destination.

All within Norway.

Source = Vossevangen Legensenter

Destination = Lom, Sognefjellsvegen

The best route would go North-East via Ovre Ardal for about 4 hours of journey (according to Google maps), but the ABRP route goes due North, takes a ferry(!) and eventually goes East, taking about 6 hours.

There’s a stretch of road the routing algorithm really wants to avoid. For example:

    Part of the route doesn’t allow motor vehicles between Oct and June according to OSM;

    Thank you - that makes sense. I wonder whether there’s any way of presenting this information in the UI? Perhaps showing this as an alternative route, not selected by default, with additional text describing the time-based restriction?
