An option for stops to be based on travel time and / or at a specific time.
Indicate charging locations approximately every 2 hours of travel time.
indicate charging locations along route at approximately noon. Assumes an option to indicate planned of future trip.

    My road trip method is to find a charging station every ≈1.5 hours. At each one, I plug into the charger, take a bio / coffee / rest break, then resume driving. I rarely need to wait for the car to charge.

    Thus I need to adjust the max duration of each travel leg to ≈1.5 hours, while William needs to adjust it to ≈2 hours.

    The existing option “Charging stops: Few but long … Short but many” could serve that function if it became adjustable in leg time units rather than “it depends” (which is how Tech Support explained it).

    If there is no charging station near a desired break time, then just find a bathroom, coffee shop, or rest area.
